IMPORTANT B.Ed. ADMISSION NOTICE

Session: 2025–26
Rangia Teacher Training College
(Affiliated to Gauhati University)

            All candidates who have qualified in the GUBEDCET-2025 and meet the required cut-off criteria are hereby informed that admission at Rangia T. T. College will commence after the publication of the Final Merit List by Gauhati University, which is expected after 5th August 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have:

  • Qualified GUBEDCET-2025, and
  • Secured minimum cut-off marks as mentioned below:
    • Unreserved Category: 80 marks
    • Reserved Category: 60 marks

Note: Candidates can apply only if they meet the minimum cut-off. Admission at Rangia T. T. College will be based strictly on GUBEDCET-2025 scores.

Admission Process Guidelines:

  1. Merit List Preparation:
    The final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of GUBEDCET-2025 marks. In case of a tie, inter-se merit will be determined in the following order:
    • (i) Higher ratio of positive to negative marks
    • (ii) Fewer unanswered questions
    • (iii) Higher age of candidate
  2. Verification of Eligibility:
    Admission will be provisional until documents and eligibility are verified as per NCTE norms. Inclusion in the merit list does not guarantee admission if eligibility is not met.

  1. Mandatory Certificates:
    • OBC/MOBC candidates must submit Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate for the current financial year.
    • EWS candidates must submit a valid EWS certificate (only for Unreserved category) for the current financial year..
    • ST(H) candidates must be domiciles of Assam.
    • Incomplete certificates or mere receipts/acknowledgments will not be accepted.

Important Information:

  • The online application form will be available on our website only after the publication of the Final Merit List by Gauhati University. (Probable date 06.08.2025)
